SOUNDTOUCH INTERACTIVE PRIVACY POLICY

SoundTouch Interactive (“SoundTouch”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) creates educational mobile and desktop applications used by children, families, teachers, and schools. We are committed to user privacy and design our apps so that they do not collect personal information.

By downloading or using any of our applications (“Apps”), you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all apps published by SoundTouch Interactive, including the Sound Touch and Video Touch app families, and future soundtouchapps.com products. Some apps include School Edition versions that operate fully offline.

2. No Personal Information Is Collected

We do not collect or store personal information.

We do not:

Ask for or collect names, email addresses, birthdates, or photos
Create or require accounts
Track users across apps or websites
Store usage analytics tied to an identity
Sell or share data with third parties

3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA / Under Age 13)

SoundTouch apps are designed for children.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us unintentionally, contact:

We will delete any such information immediately.

4. Third-Party Services (Required Transparency)

SoundTouch Interactive does not collect or store personal information.
However, some actions in the apps require the device to communicate with third-party services, which may automatically receive technical metadata (such as the device’s IP address) as part of normal internet operations.

Apple App Store / Apple In-App Purchase Framework
- Used when a user makes a purchase, restores a purchase, or taps a button that opens another app's page in the App Store.
- During this communication, the device may send technical metadata such as the device's IP address and other connection information to Apple.
- This metadata is controlled and processed by Apple.
- SoundTouch Interactive does not receive or store this information.

5. School Editions (Full Offline Mode)

Several SoundTouch apps are designed specifically for schools and:

Do not access the internet
Do not call external services
Do not transmit any data to Apple or SoundTouch

These apps are eligible for purchase via Apple School Manager / VPP.

6. Data Retention

We retain no data.

Any temporary technical logs reside only on Apple servers according to their policies and are not accessible to SoundTouch.

7. Security & Encryption

All communication between the Apps and external services (e.g., Apple servers) uses encrypted HTTPS connections.

School Edition versions perform no network communication.

8. SOPPA / FERPA / HB3606 Compliance (Student Data Privacy)

To comply with education privacy laws:

We disclose all external processors (Apple).
We do not store any personal or student data.
We retain nothing.
If we become aware of a security breach involving transmitted technical data, we will notify the affected district within 30 days, or sooner if required by law.

Any updates will be reflected with a new “Last Updated” date on this page.
